The makers of Vishal's next, which has debutant Thu Pa Saravanan at the helm, had announced earlier that they will come up with an update on the project on Sunday. Vishal, who is producing the movie under his home production Vishal Film Factory, took to Twitter to announce its title and first look.

Titled Veerame Vaagai Soodum, the first look has the star looking fierce, wielding a baseball bat even as a few goons are lying unconscious on floor. It is evident that the still is from an action sequence and fans of the star are thrilled to watch him again in an action avatar.

The film has stunt choreography by Anl Arasu while Yuvan Shankar Raja has been roped in to compose music. The latter scored music in Vishal's previous outing, Chakra, as well. Kavin Raj handles cinematography for Veerame Vaagai Soodum and NB Srikanth is in charge of editing. Tentatively titled Vishal31 earlier, the film, according to the makers, is about a common man who is forced to fight against several social evils because of the injustice meted out to him. The project was in the news earlier when Vishal had an injury while shooting for an action scene.

Baburaj, who shot to fame with Mollywood film Joji, which is steaming on Amazon Prime, plays the antagonist in the movie, which has Dimple Hayathi playing the female lead. It is said that director Saravanan was brought on board after Vishal was impressed with his short film Edhu Thevaiyo Adhuvey Dharmam. A lion's share of the project's shooting took place at Ramoji Rao FIlm City in Hyderabad. Vishal currently has Enemy and Thupparivalan 2 in his kitty. While the shooting of the former, directed by Anand Shankar is complete, the latter which marks the star's directorial debut, is expected to go on floors soon.
