The shooting of Vishal-starrer action thriller Veerame Vaagai Soodum has been wrapped up. The actor, who is also producing the project under Vishal Film Factory, took to his Twitter account to inform the same. He also said that the second single from the film, crooned by Yuvan Shankar Raja, who is also composing for the movie, will be out soon.
He also posted a working still from the location which featured himself along with the female lead Dimple Hayathi and other crew members. The movie's teaser was unveiled recently, and it will be releasing in Telugu as Saamanyudu.
A couple of days ago, the makers revealed a new still from the film and confirmed again that the project will release on January 26. However, there are news doing the rounds that there are chances of Veerame Vaagai Soodum's theatrical release getting preponed to Pongal.
The speculation has arisen after the release of much-awaited magnum opus RRR has been postponed from January 7. Ajith-starrer Valimai is currently the only Tamil film which is expected to hit the screens for Pongal festival. The Vinoth directorial is expected to release on January 13 in Telugu and Hindi, too.
It has to be seen if Vishal will make a sudden move and announce his film's release for the festival. The last big festival in Kollywood, Deepavali, had Vishal's Enemy taking on Rajinikanth's Annaatthe.
Veerame Vaagai Soodum, directed by Thu Pa Saravanan, has Kavin Raj and NB Srikanth handling its cinematography and editing respectively. Mollywood actor Baburaj plays the antagonist in the movie which has Yogi Babu, too, playing a pivotal role. Peter Hein is the action choreographer for the film which revolves around a common man's fight against the corrupt system and the consequences he faces.
