Vishnu Vishal, Vikranth express excitement over acting along with Superstar Rajinikanth in Lal Salaam

Lyca Productions, who is on a roll after the huge success of Ponniyin Selvan 1, surprised fans of Rajinikanth by signing him for two projects recently. Movie buffs kept guessing on the directors for the two untitled films ever since the announcement on it was made.

Aishwarya Rajinikanth has now surprised cinephiles by her decision to wield the megaphone after a seven-year hiatus. The project has been titled Lal Salaam. Tipped as a sports based movie, Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth have been roped in to play lead roles in it. The icing on the cake is the Superstar playing a cameo in it.

A video of the Jailer star confirming the same to the media while he left his home for the movie's official launch has been doing the rounds on social media. A few pics from the event went viral in no time, thanks to the presence of Rajinikanth.

It looks like Vishnu and Vikranth are yet to come to terms with the fact that they are part of a project which features the numero uno star of Tamil cinema. Today morning, Vishnu took to Twitter to post a cryptic tweet which read "Am i Day Dreaming ??".

After the announcement was made by Lyca Productions, he further posted "A dream i never thought i could dream of". Similarly, Vikranth tweeted, "Not even in my wildest dream I thought this was possible. #LalSalaam Extremely excited & grateful (sic)."

Both of them looked super excited while posing for a picture along with Rajinikanth and Aishwarya. AR Rahman has come on board to compose music for the film. The million dollar question among film lovers is the character Rajinikanth will be essaying in Lal Salaam.
