Vishwanath And Sons teaser out! Suriya is ageing shooter sceptical to fall in love with much younger Mamitha Baiju’s Maddy

We had earlier reported that the teaser of the upcoming film Vishwanath And Sons will be revealed soon. The makers of the Suriya-starrer unveiled it on Monday, on social media. The film is written and directed by filmmaker Venky Atluri.

Vishwanath And Sons teaser is out: What is Suriya film about?

Actor Suriya, last seen in Retro, has upcoming Tamil-Telugu film Vishwanath And Sons in the making. While scores of Suriya fans have been waiting for an update about his films, the newly unveiled teaser of Vishwanath And Sons, will give them some respite.

The teaser of Vishwanath and Sons teaser begins with the introduction of Suriya as Sanjay Vishwanath, a sharp shooter once upon time who is now in his 40s, and finding it difficult to win the pistol shooting competitions. Now that he is in the 40s, we see him meeting Maddy, a young woman played by Mamitha Baiju. She looks like someone who enjoys lavish lifestyle, and fun-loving. Soon Maddy falls for Sanjay, while the latter is sceptical about the glaring age group. Even as Sanjay wants to avoid the romance blooming between them, Maddy is adamant about him. The film will be about a love story between a man and much younger woman.

What do we know about Vishwanath And Sons?

Vishwanath And Sons is billed to be a family entertainer, and is directed by Venky Atluri, who has made films like Lucky Baskhar and Vaathi. Making his maiden collaboration with Suriya, Venky Atluri has cast Mamitha Baiju as the female lead in Vishwanath And Sons. Apart from Suriya and Mamitha Baiju, the film also stars actors Radikaa Sarathkumar, Raveena Tandon, and others. GV Prakash will be in charge of music, while the film will be shot by cinematographer Nimish Ravi and edited by Navin Nooli. Vishwanath And Sons is slated for a theatrical release in July. Netflix has taken the streaming rights of the film.
