The Bengal Files landed into controversy even before its release. The Bengal Files: Right To Life is the third film in Vivek Agnihotri's 'Files Trilogy', which also includes The Kashmir Files and The Tashkent Files. The trailer for The Bengal Files was released on August 16, and it has already created quite a stir. Dialogue changes in The Bengal Files

The makers made additional voluntary changes, reported Bollywood Hungama. The film was earlier sent to the RC for review due to controversial content. After some changes, including changing the "contemptuous" words against the transgender community and replacing pictures of important personalities, it got the green signal from the CBFC.

The makers changed the dialogue "100-years-old" to "an old woman who has dementia" and reduced the dialogue "Bharat ko ek din iska bahut bada harzana dena padega." Moreover, Gopal Mukhopadhyay's mention has been removed from multiple scenes, while text descriptions were also modified in numerous places.
