Shah Rukh Khan is one such actor whose fame is not only bound in India but worldwide. The superstar enjoys love from fans all over the world. In a new interview, Vivek Oberoi said that the world might forget Shah Rukh Khan by 2050. After Vivek's statement went viral, netizens shared mixed responses.
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Vivek Oberoi said, "Which film, starring who worked in the 1960s, you ask anyone about that today, nobody cares. You will anyway be relegated to history. 2050 mein log bolenge kaun Shah Rukh Khan, shayad (In 2050, people might ask, ‘Who is Shah Rukh Khan?’, perhaps)."
"Like people today might ask, 'Who is Raj Kapoor?' You and I, we call him the god of cinema but if you ask any youngster who is a fan of Ranbir Kapoor, they might not even know who Raj Kapoor was. So maybe history relegates you into nothingness," he added.

Reacting his statement, one social media user said, "Vivek Oberoi can't stop talking about SRK even years later shows how that rivalry defined his career trajectory. At some point, you have to move on and let your work speak. Does bringing up old feuds help or hurt his image today? Feels like he's stuck in a time loop while Bollywood moved on without him."
Another agreed with Vivek and said that each generation has new Superstars they like. "Others are not even discussed in present generation I dont hear any youngster talking about Raj Kapoor, Rajendra Kumar, Rajesh Khanna etc All forget with time," the social media user said.
Vivek was last seen in the historical action film Kesari Veer. Next, he will be seen in Nitesh Tiwari's epic Ramayana. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Goddess Sita, Yash as the demon king Raavana, Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman and Ravie Dubey as Laxman. The movie also features Rakul Preet Singh, Arun Govil, Lara Dutta and others. Vivek will also be seen in Mastiii 4.
