Mohanlal's upcoming movie, Vrusshabha, is scheduled to be released on theatres across the world on November 6. The Malayalam star will play two parts in the fantasy drama, which is directed by Nanda Kishore, King Vijayendra Vrusshabha and business magnate Vishwambhara. In the meantime, the director discussed the effects of casting the actor in this project and how Nanda Kishore approached him for the part in an interview with Mathrubhumi.
Nanda Kishore said he hoped the audience will be satisfied with the movie. "We had to make the film according to the parameters set by Mohanlal sir and his audience," he stated. The director continued by stating that he is a rookie to Malayalam cinema and that his only goal is to come here and make films. He also described how he asked the Malayalam superstar to play the part. "I asked a close friend if I may share this script with Mohanlal sir. We had no producers at that moment to back up this. He said, "I was taken to Mohanlal by that friend."
"If the script is ready, come tomorrow and let me hear the whole thing," Mohanlal sir, said. "I then gave him the entire script. That same day, he listened to it and responded, "Okay." We then began filming, and everything proceeded swiftly. The rest of the cast benefited from Lal Sir's unrivalled energy," he said. Ragini Dwivedi, Nayan Sarika, Ali, Garuda Ram, Ajay Ravuri, Neha Saxena, and Vinay Varma are also playing pivotal roles in Vrusshabha.
Nanda added that he enjoys watching Mohanlal's films. However, Pavithram is a movie that I continually watch over and over. This movie can be streamed on Amazon Prime Video and Manorama Max. He added, "There are no words to describe the range of acting he displayed there; it must be considered exceptional." He mentioned that some of his other favourites are Pulimurugan and Dasharatham.
