Vishnu Vishal, today, dropped a brand new working still from the set of his upcoming film with director Ram Kumar, which is tentatively being referred to as VV 21. The film is said to be an emotional drama with elements of fantasy.

From the sets of VV 21
Dropping a picture with the film's director, Vishnu wrote, "A fresh journey !! A fresh experience it is for me and will be for you all as well !! With the calm, composed and a clear headed @dir_ramkumar Having a great time shooting for this film backed by @SathyaJyothi Here is the working still from location (sic)."
It is to be noted that this is Vishnu Vishal's third association with the director, after Mundaasupatti (2014) and Ratsasan (2018). Interestingly, the picture was shared on the fifth anniversary of Ratsasan, a milestone in Vishnu Vishal's career.

Vishnu added that he first thought it would be easy to work on VV 21 since he has already teamed up with the director twice, but was taken aback with his fresh vision every single time.

Third time lucky
VV 21 is bankrolled by Sathya Jyothi Films. The actor had earlier shared a picture with the film's producer TG Thyagarajan and director Prem Kumar and had written. "Mundasupatti Ratsasan and now - #VV21 Semma excited for this one.. With the vision of @dir_ramkumar and backed by such a prestigious production house @SathyaJyothi..This will be an unexplored viewing experience from us to you (sic).

Awaiting the release of Lal Salaam
In the meantime, Vishnu Vishal is awaiting the release of Lal Salaam, a sports drama based on cricket. The film is helmed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth and has Vishnu sharing screen space with Vikranth. Superstar Rajinikanth will be making a cameo appearance in the film as Moideen Bhai. Lal Salaam is slated to hit screens for Pongal and will take on Sivakarthikeyan's Ayalaan.
