Wamiqa Gabbi worked for 38 hours straight. This happened while she was juggling the Modern Love: Mumbai and Jubilee shoots. The actress, recently seen opposite Rajkummar Rao in Bhool Chuk Maaf, confessed to the same during an interview with Zoom. She recalled working for 38 hours without informing any of her filmmakers about it. "I have worked 38 hours also in three shifts," she said, adding, "I am doing it happily because this is the start of my career and I have all the energy to do it. I am happily doing whatever I am getting."

Wamiqa Gabbi's views on Deepika Padukone's 8-hour shift demand

Wamiqa Gabbi has also shared her views on Deepika Padukone's 8-hour shift demand. The actress says that she does not have responsibilities on her head, which allows her to work on the said conditions. She is happy earning for her and her loved ones at this stage of her career. "I can afford to do it at this stage because I am free and I have no family responsibility," she said, recalling how sometimes shoots get cancelled for a personal reason. "Some sets tell human stories," she mentioned, while adding that there was also a time when she was asked to shoot in a jungle without a vanity van, and she agreed because that would help her grow as an actor.

Why Wamiqa Gabbi silently did the 38-hour shift

Wamiqa Gabbi did not inform either Vishal Bhardwaj or Vikramaditya Motwane about working long hours, since she believes they would adjust for her rest period. The actress revealed so, while adding that she was just excited to hop between the two sets, even if it meant shooting through the day and night, too.
