War 2 Box Office collection day 2: Hrithik Roshan-Jr. NTR's film in Rs 100 crore club before first weekend, Telugu version beats Hindi in occupancy!

Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR's War 2 continues to break record as the movie has already entered Rs 100 crore club even before weekend started. The movie's Box Office collection remained stable, which is a good indication for the Ayan Mukerji directorial. It is likely that War 2 will see a rise over the weekend, given the craze for the movie, especially in the Telugu version.

War 2 has currently minted Rs. 108 crore by day 2, according to Sacnilk. The film had earned Rs. 51.5 crore on day 1.

Telugu version shows more occupancy than Hindi too

Although War 2 is essentially a Hindi film, the Telugu version of this movie brings in most occupancy. This is owing to Jr. NTR being one of the leading actors in the movie. Although the Hindi version had an overall occupancy of 51.52%, the Telugu version had an occupancy of massive 68.99%. Interestingly, the shows were almost houseful for the Telugu version in Chennai, with the afternoon slot seeing 99% occupancy.

Coolie fever dies down?

While Coolie began on a higher note than War 2, the fever for Rajnikanth's film seems to be slowly dying down. Unlike day 1, the second day Box Office collection for Coolie saw a massive drop of Rs. 10 crore. The movie, also starring Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, had earned Rs. 65 crore on opening day, but the second day Box Office is approximately Rs. 53.50 crore only. interestingly, Coolie has also worked better in the Telugu version than the Tamil one. While the overall occupancy for the Tamil version was 80.70%, the Telugu occupancy was 85.42%. It would now be interesting to see what the weekend Box Office clash for the movies look like.
