War 2: Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR to shoot a dance-off with 500 dancers? Here's what we know

War 2 has been one of the most-awaited films for a long time. Hrithik Roshan will be seen with Jr NTR on the big screen for the first time. Fans are eager to see these actors in Ayan Mukerji's action-packed movie. While the shoot of War 2 has been ongoing for some time now, the latest development is that Hrithik and Jr NTR will soon film a dance-off. The shoot is expected to take place at Yash Raj Studios in Andheri, Mumbai.

Update on Hrithik Roshan-Jr NTR's War 2

The dance sequence between Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR is apparently a part of War 2's climax. The film, which also stars Kiara Advani, will feature the two actors pitted against each other in a dance-off. Producer Aditya Chopra, who reportedly came up with this idea for the Ayan Mukerji directorial. He wanted Hrithik and Jr NTR to groove together as they are known for their energetic and smooth dance moves.

"In the sequence, Hrithik, who reprises his role of R&AW agent Kabir Dhaliwal, makes his way to the hideout of the antagonist, portrayed by Jr NTR. What follows is an electrifying dance battle that segues into the climactic fight set-piece," a source told Mid-Day.

The report further suggests that Hrithik and Jr NTR have been rehearsing individually for the past 15 days for the dance-off. "The makers have deliberately kept them apart so that when they lock horns in front of the camera, it will look natural," the source added. Over 500 dancers will be a part of the song

It has also been reported that production designer Amrita Mahal Nakai has built a grand set for the track. On the other hand, Pritam has composed the fast-paced dance number. The security has also been beefed up at the shoot location. 

Moreover, phones are not allowed on the set to ensure that pictures from the shoot don't get leaked. Additionally, the unit members have been given badges to avoid a security breach. The song's shoot will likely wrap up by March 10.
