War 2 is one of the most anticipated films of 2025. The film has been generating a good amount of buzz and excitement ever since it was announced. On June 26, the makers of War 2 shared three new posters of Hrithik Roshan, Jr. NTR, and Kiara Advani from War 2, and they look promising in their action avatars.

On June 26, War 2 makers dropped three posters of Hrithik Roshan, Kiara Advani, and Jr. NTR. In the posters, they appear to be bold and dedicated action avatars as they are ready for the war.
Kiara, in a black outfit, looks nothing more than a real action heroine. On the other hand, Jr. NTR and Hrithik look ruthless and merciless in the new posters.
For Hrithik, the caption of the poster read, "This time he’s ruthless, merciless, relentless and ready for WAR!" While Jr. NTR is described as resolute and fearless who will never stop hunting." On the other hand, the caption for Kiara's poster stated that she is lithe, lethal and locked on target.

War 2 is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language action-thriller film and the sequel to the 2019 movie War. The film will feature Hrithik Roshan reprising his role as Major Kabir Dhaliwal, and Jr. NTR making his Bollywood debut as the antagonist, named Veerendra Raghunath. Ayan Mukerji directs the film, which is part of the YRF Spy Universe.
The story revolves around Kabir's new secret expedition, which takes him across multiple continents. He faces a new and terrifying enemy, Jr. NTR's character, a former RAW operative who has created a global network of mercenaries and cyber-terrorists. The film will explore the ideological conflict between Kabir and Veerendra, with a focus on espionage, betrayal, and high-octane action sequences.
War 2 is the sixth installment in the YRF Spy Universe and is scheduled for release on August 14, 2025, and will be released in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil.
Hrithik Roshan on teaming up with Jr NTR in War 2
During an earlier event, Hrithik shared his experience of collaborating with Jr. NTR in War 2. He called NTR a phenomenal actor and added, "I am completely impressed by his performance. I have learned many things from Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao Jr.," he said.
Meanwhile, produced by Aditya Chopra, War 2 is scheduled to release globally on August 14, 2025, during India’s Independence Day weekend.
