War 2: Not just Hrithik Roshan, Kiara Advani to showcase her combat skills in a high-octane fight sequence in Ayan Mukerji’s film

Kiara Advani is gearing up to showcase a new side through her acting prowess with Ayan Mukerji's War 2. The film also starring Hrithik Roshan is the sequel to the successful action flick War. While War was a massive hit, fans are eagerly waiting for the sequel to release on the big screens soon. According to a recent media report, the film will showcase Kiara in a commando fight sequence in the film. 

Kiara Advani to perform intense ‘Commando Fight’ in War 2

According to a report by Dainik Baskar, the introduction scenes are already filmed by Kiara Advani and Hrithik Roshan. While Hrithik's character faces off against Japanese villains at the iconic Shaolin Temple, Kiara will be seen displaying her combat talent in an intense fight scene set in a shopping mall. This intense sequence was shot at Mumbai's Infiniti Mall in Malad for over four days.  

Not only this, the report also reveals that Jr NTR, who will be seen as parallel lead with Hrithik will also have a grand entry scene where he will be seen on a ship. The shooting of the same will be held at Yash Raj Studios after the actor has recovered from his recent injury. The shooting is said to be scheduled for October now.

Talking about how the makers are planning to make the film a massive extravaganza, a source told Pinkvilla, “Ayan Mukerji and Aditya Chopra have meticulously worked on the script of War 2 to differentiate it from everything that has been done in the YRF Spy Universe so far. War 2 will be an action spectacle like never before, and as suggested by the post-credit sequence of Kabir, this one will be a little darker and grittier.”

For the uninitiated, after Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War, Pathaan, and Tiger 3, War 2 will be the sixth installment in the YRF's Spy Universe. It is directed by Ayan Mukerji and is slated for August 14, 2025 release. Alia Bhatt and Sharvari's Alpha is also included in YRF Spy Universe.
