Imagine yourself being transported back in time, where the biggest blockbuster of the last year before COVID-19 hits, is out and the stars, who are the biggest faces in action at the time, end up partying all night. Yes, the very times we craved for can be relived, for Team War aka Hrithik Roshan, Tiger Shroff and Vaani Kapoor have come together under the same roof, courtesy director Siddharth Anand. It took six years, but here we are, celebrating the biggest blockbuster of 2019. It truly was War reunion!
War, where it was Hrithik Roshan vs Tiger Shroff
The biggest highlight of War the movie was Hrithik Roshan but also Hrithik vs Tiger. They literally played mentor vs mentee, both gone rogue. The duo reunited last night and the mentor vs mentee vibes were still there!!
The War craze
From the songs to the action and of course the visuals, War had it all. Ghungroo Toot Gaye, where Vaani Kapoor was matching steps with Hrithik Roshan, became the sensation. Jai Jai Shivshankar was the next best thing because Tiger and Hrithik in a party dance number is all we needed at the time. And of course, the action in War contributed to it becoming the highest-grossing Bollywood film of 2019, right before COVID-19 forced everyone into lockdown.
War 2 update
Six years after War's release, we're now gearing up for the sequel of the movie, War 2 (where everything has changed). Hrithik continues to be the face of the YRF Spy Universe film, but he's the only one taking the legacy forward. This time, Ayan Mukerji directs him with Kiara Advani as the female lead and Jr. NTR as the lead antagonist. The movie also comes after YRF Spy Universe is officially announced, and consists of Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan as well as Salman Khan's Tiger.
