Bollywood actress Rich Chadha tied the knot with actor Ali Fazal on October 4, 2022, after dating for a few years. The couple met on the sets of the 2013 film Fukrey and embarked on a lifelong journey together as a married couple in 2022.
To mark their one-year anniversary, the couple has announced the release of their wedding documentary, RiAlity, which was shot across Mumbai, Delhi and Lucknow.
“Our documentary, RiAlity, is a heartfelt attempt to capture the genuine essence of our wedding experience,” Richa told Hindustan Times.
Speaking further about the documentary, Richa said that it will show what goes on behind the glitzy world of glamour. It will showcase humble beginnings of two individuals. “It’s a mirror reflecting the reality behind the glitz, a candid portrayal of two individuals from humble beginnings,” she added.
A collection of candid moments
Taking a third person’s perspective, the documentary is a collection of candid and unfiltered moments shared by people surrounding them. Ali said that they want to give viewers a glimpse of the wedding but through the gaze of others. “RiAlity captures the essence of our journey, not just as actors but as two regular people in love,” he said.
Directed by Rahul Singh Datta, the documentary will showcase the moments leading up to the big day. Ali said that with this film they are baring their emotions, the struggles, and the triumphs that came with planning this union.
RiAlity release date
Though there is no official confirmation regarding the release date of the documentary, RiAlity is expected to premiere later this year.
On the work front, Richa was last seen in Fukrey 3, alongside Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma and Manjot Singh. Meanwhile, Ali Fazal is set to feature alongside Tabu and Wamiqa Gabbi in Vishal Bhardwaj’s Khufiya.
