We all know just how swept up Hollywood and almost all of North America was by S.S. Rajamouli's RRR but not many could imagine that the film would one day be referred to in a WWE fight. Well, the recent WWE Superstar Spectacle event was all about action, drama, acrobatics and, of course, a bit of dancing.

Popular wrestling stars Drew McIntyre, Jinder Mahal, Sami Zayn and Sam Riddle followed up their usual routine in the ring with a special performance, which involved the Naacho Naacho song, aka Naatu Naatu, from RRR. It was only fitting that they busted out the moves in Hyderabad, drawing a huge cheer from the local crowd as the Oscar winning song played on the massive sound system.

Of course, this rather unique sight caught the attention of netizens who have now made the clip viral. The clips emerging from the event have now got everyone talking about the massive impact that Naatu Naatu - the song, the choreography, the picturization, etc. - has had on the rest of the world.

Composed by Rajamouli's chief collaborator MM Keeravani, Naatu Naatu comes at a pivotal point in RRR as, during the course of the song, we see Ramaraju (Ram Charan) and Komaram Bheem (Jr. NTR) solidify their friendship and also counter the apparent colonialism in their swinging ways. The song, originally written by Chandrabose and later translated in other languages, won the Golden Globe in the Best Original Song category and also the Oscar (same category), becoming the first song from an Indian production to win an Academy Award.

Naatu Naatu was also one of the main features at the 2023 Academy Awards, with Deepika Padukone introducing the song and the following performance.
