Weekend with Ramesh Season 5: Kantara 2 Rishab Shetty to be part of finale episode?

It's been nearly 10 years since Ramesh Aravind assumed the role of the congenial host of the hit program Weekend with Ramesh. The chat show has since then gained fame and the adoration of viewers for featuring several popular and highly revered personalities as guests; from movie stars such as Kiccha Sudeep, Puneeth Rajkumar, Shiva Rajkumar, Challenging Star Darshan, Anant Nag, B. Saroja Devi, musical talents like S. P. Balasubrahmanyam & Raghu Dixit, entrepreneurs like N.R. Narayana Murthy and his wife & author Sudha Murthy to literary giants such as Chandrashekhara Kambara, the show has seen many accomplished individuals gracing its shiny stage.

Having successfully seen off four seasons, Weekend with Ramesh returned for Season 5 earlier this year in March with 'Sandalwood Queen' Ramya kicking things off. Ace choreographer Prabhu Deva, renowned cardiologist C.N. Manjunath, popular Kannada actor 'Daali' Dhananjaya and a few others, too, have been part of the show so far. The showrunners recently hinted at having former quiz master and author Dr. N. Someshwara as one of the guests in the upcoming episodes along with legendary dance choreographer Chinni Prakash.

One has also come across chatter about actor-director Rishab Shetty coming on Weekend with Ramesh Season 5. Ahead of the beginning of the ongoing season, reports claimed that the Kantara maker would be the first guest but they were soon discarded when Ramya showed up in the first episode. The show's Wikipedia page doesn't include Rishab Shetty's name either but if the latest social media 'buzz' is to be believed, he is set to be part of the Weekend with Ramesh Season 5 finale episode. 

'Dimple Queen' Rachita Ram, too, is rumoured to be one of the guests of the current season but the showrunners are yet to confirm the same. Full episodes of Weekend with Ramesh can be streamed on the Zee5 app.
