Despite being a heartthrob in the 1990s, Kamal Sadanah’s career didn't take off the way Saif Ali Khan's did. In one episode of Koffee With Karan Season 8, Sharmila Tagore revealed that Saif was replaced by Kamal in Bekhudi (1992), which was supposed to be Saif’s debut film, because the makers wanted someone experienced. Hence, it can be assumed that Kamal and Saif’s relationship began on a sour note. However, as time passed, they became friends, who have partied and travelled together.

Kamal and Saif have been friends for over 3 decades. During Siddharth Kannan’s podcast, Kamal didn't hesitate to reveal some secrets about Saif. Like the one time that Saif beat a man on the road? Saif, his ex-wife Amrita Singh and Kamal were returning home in a car and Saif was driving. Another car abruptly cut in front of them. Saif gestured to the other driver, which led to a fight in the middle of the road.

Kamal then revealed that he and Amrita got out, sat on their car's bonnet and watched Saif fight with the other man for a long time. Later, the fight took a surprising turn when both of them began biting each other. Later they stopped fighting, got up and hugged each other. They even went to the hospital together and received treatment.

Saif Ali Khan is currently shooting for the Telugu film Devara, which also stars Jr. NTR and Janhvi Kapoor. He will also be seen in director Siddharth Anand's next.
When he is not on film sets, the 53-year-old is seen spending time with his family. He also attended Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's pre-wedding celebrations with wife Kareena Kapoor Khan, sister-in-law Karisma Kapoor, daughter Sara Ali Khan and sons Ibrahim, Taimur and Jehangir Ali Khan.
