Marvel Studios’ digital drama - Wastelanders has 6 series including - Wastelanders: Star Lord, Wastelanders: Hawkeye, Wastelanders: Black Widow, Wastelanders: Wolverine, Wastelanders: Doom and Wastelanders. The podcasts are set in a variation of the Old Man Logan universe, a future timeline where the world's supervillains, led by Doctor Doom, Red Skull, and Baron Zemo, teamed up to kill almost all superheroes and establish a new world order. Those heroes who survived, including Wolverine, Hawkeye, and Black Widow, are largely in hiding or broken shells of their former selves.

Kareena Kapoor Khan has already lent her voice for Wastelanders: Star Lord and Black Widow, and Saif Ali Khan lent his voice for Star Lord. This is the very first time the couple has worked in such project. Mantra Mugdh, the multi-talented actor, director, and radio jockey, has directed both Star Lord and the recently released Wolverine. Hence, the excitement inside him can surely be assumed.

Director Mantra Mugdh's revelation on working with the Khan couple

In an exclusive interview with Zoom TV, Mantra Mugdh spilled the beans that he feels very lucky to work with Saif and Kareena in Wastelanders. While respecting the couple's acting experience in Bollywood, Mantra shared that he was having child-like enthusiasm because the Khans never worked in something like this before. While talking about his experience, Mantra revealed that he feels quite lucky to work with the couple as they had literally set a bar at the studio.

Mantra Mugdh said, “It's been an amazing journey getting to work with such brilliant actors. They are my seniors and I have learned so much from them. To be able to have them in the studio with a childlike enthusiasm because they had never done something like this. Especially Saif Sahab, who was the first I recorded with. I was very lucky to get an actor who walked in after I don't know how many years. He must have been in the industry for almost 30 years now or even more if I'm not wrong, and for him to come in with the childlike enthusiasm was brilliant. He set the tone for us for Marvel's Wastelanders series with Star-Lord. Kareena ma’am, of course, was right at the top. She was sure she said I'm ready as an actor, you let me know what you want and any director would be happy to receive that.”

Star-cast of Wastelanders: Wolverine
