When The Phone Rings has only three episodes left to reach the climax. Episode 9 revealed a lot about Yoo Yeon-seok's Sa-eon and Chae Soo-bin’s Hee-jo learned that Sa-eon is not the real son of Baek Ui-yong (Yoo Seong-ju). Chairman Baek faked his grandchild's identity and made Yoo Yeon-seok's Sa-eon his.
When The Phone Rings Episodes 9 and 10
Episode 9 of When The Phone Rings explores Sa-eon’s traumatic past and mysterious identity. After Sa-eon's fire accident at the childhood fishing spot, Hee-jo rushes to the hospital after learning of his injuries. Meanwhile, Sa-eon’s true identity and the real kidnapper behind the missing orphans heighten the suspense in the episode. Sa-eon and his childhood caretaker were hospitalized by Ji Sang-woo after the fire accident. After gaiing conscious, his childhood caretaker revealed the place where he will get the real kidnapper to Sa-eon.
Se-eon is not the real son of Baek Ui-yong
In the meanwhile, it is revealed that Sa-eon is not the real son of Baek Ui-yong. After the event at the office, Hee-jo got into the car and Do-jae informed that Sa-eon had asked him to safely reach her home. Meanwhile, Sa-eon reached the place, informed by his childhood caretaker. He received a message from his friend that Do-jae is not his real name and before adoption, his name was Yun Min-seong. Hinting at an impending disaster, Sa-eon called Do-jae but he did not answer and the scene showed Hee-jo being unconscious inside the car that was driven by Do-jae.
Episode 10 preview shows a fight scene between Sa-eon and the kidnapper (Park Jae-yoon). Meanwhile, Do-jae is also seen as unconscious. The kidnapper is asking Sa-eon if he will give him Hee-jo.
