On March 1, American music sensation Rihanna landed in India. This was the first time the famous 36-year-old came to the country to meet and greet her fans and well-wishers in Jamnagar city. She came in the afternoon of that day, performed a concert at Anant Ambani, and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding ceremony and the next morning jetted off to her home country. Many social media users expected that the music icon would be in the country for about three days just like other global luminaries namely former Microsoft CEO Bill Gates, and Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg among others. Reacting to the expectations, Rihanna has something to say.
According to a report from Moneycontrol, American popstar Rihanna made an appearance on her best friend Melissa Forde's Instagram Live on Friday night. Melissa, who accompanied Rihanna during her visit to India, was the host of the Live session. Rihanna took the opportunity to address the reason behind her brief visit to India, which lasted less than 24 hours.
Rihanna said, “I had the best time in India. I only have two days. The only reason I am leaving India is because my kids are (unclear audio). I have to come back."
After dazzling at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's pre-wedding celebrations in Jamnagar, pop icon Rihanna connected with paparazzi at the Jamnagar airport on Sunday. She kindly posed for photos and even hugged security personnel, a gesture that spread rapidly online. Expressing her fondness for India, Rihanna shared with the paparazzi, "I adore India. The performance was incredible! It's been eight years since I've done a road show, so I'd like to come back."

The opulent pre-wedding festivities of wealthy individuals Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant kicked off in grandeur. On the first day, renowned singer Rihanna electrified the crowd with her performance. On day two, guests ventured to the Ambanis' animal sanctuary for a "Walk on the Wildside" theme, immersing themselves in local wildlife activities. Today is the last day of the event. As evening approaches, the formal "Hashtakshar" ceremony, showcasing traditional Indian attire, will create an enchanting atmosphere.
