Will Dev finally start his Bangladeshi project Commando?

Dev startled his fans when he announced his first Bangladesh project Commando on his social media in 2020. Directed by Shamim Ahmed, the film was scheduled to be shot abroad, in Thailand and France. However, it was due to the wrath of the pandemic and various other reasons, the project was stalled. Recently, it has been reported that work will start again.

On Wednesday, a report on Tolly Bangla Box Office suggested that work of Commando will start doon. Bangladeshi actress Zahara Mitu is expected to pair up with Dev. In fact, she opened up about the film in a recent interview. Dev might get involved in the production of the film. However, the name of the direction is yet to be decided. There has not been any official announcement. Hence, the future of this project is yet to be official.

Meanwhile, Dev is busy with a number of projects. He has completed shooting Tekka with Srijit Mukherji. The film also features Rukmini Maitra, Swastika Mukherjee, Tota Roychowdhury, and others. Soon after Tekka, Dev got busy with Khadaan, which also features Jusshu U Sengupta, Barkha Bisht Sengupta, and others. The team is currently shooting around the coal-mining area of Ranigunj-Asansole. Later, he is scheduled to start his ‘Christmas special’ film with Avijit Sen.
