After being struck by a whirlwind in March 2022, looks like the Smiths are slowly but surely putting things in perspective. Will Smith's public display of aggression at the 94th Academy Awards not only shocked the world but also topsy-turvy-ed the lives of all three entities involved - Chris Rock, the person Smith attacked centre stage, Jada Pinkett Smith, who sat beside the King Richard actor as the subject of Rock's joke, and, of course, Will Smith himself.

Cut to October 2023 and we have the can of worms being opened again but, hopefully, under better circumstances with each of them having given themselves, and the rest of the world, the time to gain objectivity and composure. Jada Pinkett Smith is currently on a media tour to promote her memoir 'Worthy' which hits the stands on October 17 and in these pursuits, she is divulging a lot of intimate details from her fascinating life.

From her relationship with rap god Tupac Shakur, her marriage to Will Smith, her troubled suicide phase to the all-important Oscar slap, Worthy is the tell-all memoir that is sure to lure you in. While, seemingly so, Pinkett Smith has had a cathartic experience penning it all down, her husband Will Smith is a proud man.

"I applaud and honour you," says Will Smith in a letter he penned to a leading podcaster Jay Shetty after reading the booking. Shetty would pass on the message by reading it out to his guest, Jada Pinkett Smith.

"If I had read this book 30 years ago, I definitely would have hugged you more. I'll start now. Welcome to the author's club. I love you endlessly. Now go get some Merlot and take a rest," added Will Smith in his letter.

Will and Jada, of course, have been secretly separated since 2016 but haven't legally split owing to a promise that "there will never be a reason for us to get a divorce". The 52-year-old actress and Emmy-winning talk-show host has been letting out juicy highlights from her book including the conversation that took place between herself, Will Smith and Chris Rock after the 'slapgate'.
