Will Susmita Dey team up with Shaheb Bhattacherjee in his TV debut?

Nowadays, serials are changing their trends. Bengali serials present stories of new flavours. People are liking the acting of the newcomers. There are instances of a surprising star cast as well. Many actors from film and web series set foot on television recently. Anusha Viswanathan debuted on TV with Jol Thoi Thoi Bhalobasha and Anubhav Kanjilal, with Mili. Many actors are debuting on the small screen. Shaheb Bhattacherjee is the newest addition to the list. He is pairing up with Susmita Dey of Panchami fame in a serial.

In an interview with Ei Samay Digital, Susmita said, “Talks are going on about a new serial. But the promo has not been shot. The story and the serial's name are not finalized. Its producer is Bangla Talkies and it will be seen on Star Jalsa. The matter is at the initial stage. As far as I know, Shaheb will be cast opposite me.” 

Shaheb hosted several reality shows on television. His fans are happy. Shaheb acted in a web series in 2023 which was liked by the audience. Several of his films, including Aaro Ek Prithibi, have also been much discussed and appreciated. 

The serial Panchami ended in 2023. Fans were waiting when Susmita would be seen again. They are happy at the news of her comeback opposite Shaheb. Susmita is active on social media where she shares her happy moments with her fans.
