While talking to ANI, Yami Gautam reveals that she has a special reason why she wants Article 370 to re-release in theatres. The reason is that she did not get to experience the film with the viewers. Yami was pregnant with her and Aditya Dhar's baby at the time. Thus, she could not make theatrical visits and watch the film with her fans. However, with the re-release, she sure hopes to do so. The film already holds a special place in her heart because it was her and Aditya's first film where they were expecting parents. They are now raising their baby boy Vedavid together (born on May 10, 2024).
Yami also mentioned her other movies that she would like to see on the big screen. They include Uri, Vicky Donor, Bala or A Thursday. While most of the films were originally theatrical releases, A Thursday was a direct-to-OTT release that grabbed eyeballs. Uri, in particular, was already a huge hit when it released in 2019. It was also the first film that Yami and Aditya Dhar collaborated on and fell in love while shooting for the movie.
