The world continues to spin in its own merry way but there's still no official update concerning Rocking Star Yash's next. The 37-year-old star has managed quite successfully to dodge all questions related to his future projects during his few-and-far-in-between social appearances as everyone around slowly grows restless.

That said, the speculations refuse to wane and the latest development suggests that Yash might actually have his next two films firmly in sight. All that's pending is a formal word on the same and perhaps the natural order would soon be restored after that.

The first of the two speculated projects is the Geetu Mohandas project which, if and when things fall in place, will most likely be the much-discussed 'Yash 19'. It's been at least a couple of months since the buzz about this unique collaboration emerged and even though the parties involved have remained mum throughout, one gathers bits & pieces of confirmation from all corners. And at this very point, no other filmmaker except Geetu Mohandas seems in contention anymore as far as Yash 19 is concerned.

In parallel, Yash is also supposedly in talks with the Bollywood team of director Nitesh Tiwari and producers Madhu Mantena, Namit Malhotra and Allu Aravind for the role of Ravana in the new iteration of Ramayana. Though one isn't sure how distinct or impressive Nitesh Tiwari's reimagination of the epic tale is, the latest exclusive report by Pinkvilla informs that Yash is the chosen guy to play the imposing character. The act of signing on the dotted line seems to be the only thing pending with reports (which first emerged several months ago) now claiming that the makers are quite firm on having the Kannada actor play the role.

Ranbir Kapoor, who is slated to play Lord Rama, is said to have undergone a look test very recently. Alia Bhatt, his real-life partner, is set to play Sita Devi. Nitesh Tiwari, who has previously made successful Hindi films like Dangal and Chhichhore, will direct the project along with Ravi Udyawar.

So, with this in perspective, would it be safe to say that Yash has his next two projects zeroed in? Well, as much as you and I would like that to be true, it actually completely depends on the actor, or anyone within his circles, to give out an on-the-record confirmation. Hopefully, the wait for that isn't getting any longer.
