Fans of Samantha have been eagerly waiting to watch Yashoda ever since its makers unveiled a promo video a few months ago. The movie was initially slated for a release in August, but the team postponed the date owing to reasons best known to them.

A few days ago, they announced officially that the film will hit the screens on November 11. They also released a new poster on the occasion of Deepavali, leaving fans of Sam elated. Now, another update on the project has made them delighted to the core.

The trailer of the movie which will be released in multiple languages is set to be out on October 27. The makers have roped in different actors to do the honours. Suriya will reveal the Tamil trailer, while Rakshit Shetty will unveil the Kannada version of the trailer.

For its Malayalam version, Dulquer Salmaan has been brought on board by the team. The trailer in all these languages, apart from Telugu and Hindi, will be revealed at 5.36pm. The movie, which is billed as an action thriller, has been helmed by Hari and Harish.

Yashoda will be Samantha's second outing this year after Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal. Shaakuntalam and Kushi are other movies she currently has in her kitty. Yashoda is also her first Telugu movie in a lead role to be released in the post-pandemic era.

The film revolves around a young woman who gets trapped in an unknown place after a few unanticipated incidents happen in her life. How she rescues herself after facing a slew of hurdles forms the rest of the plot. Varalaxmi, Sampath, Unni Mukundan and Murali Sharma among others play key characters in the film.
