Youth day 5 box office collection day 5: The Tamil teen drama, led by a young cast, has been performing consistently well at the box office. Directed by Ken Karunaas, the coming-of-age film witnessed a dip on Monday, but still crossed Rs 25 crore total gross at the box office, as per industry tracker Sacnilk.

The 2026 Tamil film Youth released in theatres on March 19, 2026, bringing yet another tale of youngsters after Anaswara Rajan and Abishan Jeevinth’s rom-com movie With Love. Youth opened with Rs 3.6 crore and maintained the figures over the long weekend, registering the highest figure of Rs 5.25 crore on day 4, Sunday, as per the figures on Sacnilk. However, the film dropped to Rs 1.83 crore on Monday, which was expected with the long weekend coming to an end.
The total India collections of Youth stand at Rs 21.84 crore, the overseas gross collection at Rs 3.60 crore. With this, the total worldwide gross collection of Ken Karunaas’ film is Rs 25.44 crore, Sacnilk has reported.
The film has been performing well despite not having any big stars and led by a young cast.
No other major Tamil movie released along with Youth on March 19, which saw the Hindi spy thriller Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge making its wide release.

Youth revolves around a class 10 boy named Praveen. While his father does not have any high hopes on the boy, his mother believes that he would do good. However, Praveen has only one goal to chase in life, finding his true love. What happens when three girls enter the life of the 10-grader is narrated in this light-hearted movie.
Noted Malayalam actor Suraj Venjaramoodu is part of the Youth cast, along with Devadarshini, Anishma Anilkumar, Meenakshi Dinesh, and Nalini, among others.
The film will drop on Netflix after its theatrical run.
