We had reported earlier about Parthiban and Gautham Karthik teaming up for a movie which has Ezhil at the helm. The makers of the film, which is releasing in theatres on March 18, have now unveiled its trailer. The two-minute video offers a sneak peek into the film's story.

It opens up with the mysterious causes behind every death which happens across the world. The project, which has Parthiban playing a cop in it, deals with digital drugs, the way it operates and its endless consequences. Sai Priya, Robo Shankar and Chaams among others essay crucial characters in the movie.

The first look of the film was released a few months ago by Vijay Sethupathi. Billed as a murder mystery, this is the first time Ezhil has made a project in the genre. Yutha Satham is based on a novel of the same name written by Rajesh Kumar. Earlier, there was news about Rajesh appreciating Ezhil for making the movie without losing the essence of the story.

Though Ezhil had assisted Parthiban in his directorial projects, this is the first time the actor-filmmaker has played a character in the former's movie. His last movie was Saravanan Irukka Bayamaen, which had Udhayanidhi and Regina Cassandra essaying lead roles.

Debutant Sai Priya plays the female lead in Yutha Satham which has music by Imman and cinematography by RB Gurudev. Ezhil had earlier revealed that he had to watch a few movies to get ready before the project went on floors.

He was all praise for Parthiban for his contribution towards the movie's output with regard to its execution and screenplay. Apparently, Parthiban is the first filmmaker who Ezhil has directed in his career till date.
