As promised, director Santhosh Ananddram delivers a sneak peek into what is to be expected when Yuva releases in theatres with the trailer

Filmmaker Santhosh Ananddram had shown audiences that Yuva Rajkumar can dance with the first song Obbane Shiva Obbane Yuva. Then he showed the actor’s romantic side with Kavithe Kavithe and hinted at Yuva’s emotional content with the song, Appuge.
With the trailer that came out moments ago, he presents an all-round vision of Yuva, the rebellious student ready to pick a fight with local goons, face the consequences and, in turn, strain his relationship with his father. He’s also a young man with a sweet spot for a fellow student played by Sapthami Gowda, a brother who will stand up to protect his sister and so much more. The actor packs quite a punch in the glimpses of the action sequences of the trailer.
Santhosh, it would seem, has packed quite a lot into his two-and-a-half-hour film, considering that the responsibility of giving Yuva a good launch rests on his shoulders. It is youthful, has a message, but, is also tailored to appeal to a wide audience, as there is something for everyone in the film. As per the trailer and what Santhosh has revealed in media interactions, Yuva is an engineering college student in Mangaluru, whose tiffs with some local students eventually involves a goon as well.
This has serious repercussions for Yuva, who has to then make a living as food delivery boy, despite having studied engineering, which can only mean that he is unable to finish the course. His troubles with this gang, though, continue and when his family is involved, he has to defend them yet again, or so it seems.\
In the trailer, Santhosh also introduces a character played by Kishore, which, he has revealed is that of a sports coach. The assumption here, based on the last shot is that Kishore helps Yuva redeem his life to some degree. Of course, all will be revealed when the film releases in theatres on March 29.
