In a heartfelt note attached to the tweet, he thanked filmmakers and producers who worked with him for their unflinching trust in him. He believes that he wouldn't have been able to express his love for music without the opportunity they have provided.

According to him, the journey of a 16-year-old who composed for Aravindhan long ago to Valimai which released recently, has been overwhelming, to say the least. He reiterated that not a single day goes by without thanking his fans and well-wishers because of who he is today.

He also wrote about the huge impact his father, the legendary composer Ilaiyaraaja, left on him. Yuvan said that he is honoured to be his son and that he, along with other musicians, has been a great influence from a young age.

He added, "I make music that is worthy of your love and affection. Without your titles of 'BGM King' and 'Little Maestro', I would not have been able to scale the heights that I have so far." Awards, he said, meant little for him, but winning over the hearts of his fans is what kept him going all these years.

"As I celebrate these past two decades and a half, I wish to thank you as well for making me who I am. Thank you for 25 years of music, heart and soul. And, God willing, here's to many more," he wrote further.
