Yuvan Shankar Raja posts a picture of himself with Thalapathy Vijay; netizens wonder what's brewing

Fans of Vijay and Yuvan Shankar Raja were in for a surprise when the latter posted a picture of himself along with the star on his social media page. Their combination was unanticipated as the duo had worked together in only one film, Pudhiya Geethai (streaming on MX Player), which released in 2003.

Movie lovers have started speculating if the two are joining hands for a project soon. Vijay's next project, tentatively titled Thalapathy 66, has Thaman composing music. This is the first time the Boys actor has come on board to set tunes for a VIjay-starrer.

There are also speculation doing the rounds on Vijay's upcoming projects; some say he will team up with Master (streaming on Amazon Prime) filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj for the second time, while a few sources say that he might work with AR Murugadoss again after Thuppakki (streaming on YouTube), Kaththi (streaming on Amazon Prime Video) and Sarkar (streaming on Netflix).     

Needless to say, fans of both Vijay and Yuvan are eagerly awaiting their collaboration. There are rumours on the musician being considered for the star's unconfirmed project with Lokesh, though an announcement is awaited on the same.

It has to be noted that Yuvan has worked for several films of Ajith, who has been considered as Vijay's arch-rival at the box office for several years. Ajith's last outing Nerkonda Paarvai (streaming on Zee5) and upcoming flick Valimai, has music composed by Yuvan. Dheena, Billa, Aegan, Mankatha, Billa 2 and Arrambam are the Ajith-starrers for which Yuvan was the composer.

As soon as the picture of Vijay and Yuvan was posted, it started going viral on various social media platforms. Many movie buffs were all praise for Vijay's fitness level and salt n pepper beard look.
