Discussions about concluding the series are already underway. Read on to learn more.
For the past two years, fans have been waiting f or HBO to confirm Euphoria Season 3 and bring their favorite characters back. The show faced multiple delays and roadblocks, pushing its release by years. Now, filming is finally underway, but new reports suggest that this may be the final season, bringing each character to their climactic arc.
As per Deadline, at The White Lotus Season 3 premiere, Francesca Orsi, HBO’s head of drama, addressed the future of Euphoria. She said, “I wanted to give them their first week to themselves to settle in. They have, beautifully.” Orsi also mentioned speaking with the show’s creator, Sam Levinson, at 6:30 AM while he was on his way to the set. She shared, “Everyone’s so happy to be back, and I’m relieved we’re finally here.”
She further added, “We’ve talked about it. I don’t think anything is over until it’s over, but it’s been discussed that this is the end. I think you will be very satisfied with this season and how we bring each of the characters’ whole narrative arcs.” Reports suggest that delays in production were due to multiple reasons, including Hollywood industry strikes in 2023. Originally set to begin filming that year, production was further pushed to 2025 due to creative differences and rewrites.
