Ziddi Ishq is Raj Chakraborty’s Hindi remake of his Bengali film Parineeta. The series will be released on JioHotstar and OTTplay Premium on November 21. The 1-minute and 32-second trailer of Ziddi Ishq introduces Parambrata Chattopadhyay as Shikhar and Aaditi Pohankar as Mehul. Set in Kolkata, the trailer shows Mehul deeply falling for her neighbour, whom she affectionately calls Shikhar Da.
Mehul has a one-sided love for Shikhar, and that makes her vulnerable. The trailer shows that one day she learns that Shikhar has died, and it is claimed that he died by suicide, but Mehul knows he couldn't have committed suicide and says, "It was not a suicide."
Following this, Mehul tries to take revenge on those people who 'murdered' Shikhar Da. The series features intense action sequences, suspense, and thrills. Directed by Raj Chakraborty, Ziddi Ishq promises a bold, intense narrative that goes far beyond a simple romance.
