When will Bigg Boss 16 commence?

The much-awaited show has a special release date too. Like the season number, Bigg Boss 16 will start streaming from October 16.

What time will it be aired/streamed?

Bigg Boss will air on TV at 10.30 pm. It is likely to stream on Voot at least half an hour before each episode. Salman Khan’s Weekend Ka Vaar will be out at 9 pm on, well, weekends (Saturday and Sunday).

Contestants list leaked

According to the report, the contestants’ list at this given point has been leaked. It includes names like Munawar Faruqui and Divyanka Tripathi. Whether they are a part of the show or not, is yet to be confirmed. Here are the contestants who are likely to be approached…

Shivangi Joshi

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehalata Hai’s Shivangi Joshi is likely to be approached for the reality show. Whether she can actually do it or not is a different topic. She is still shooting for YRKKH but October is still far, so no one can be sure whether she will participate in Salman’s show or not.

Gashmeer Mahajani

This is one name that has popped up everywhere. He was previously linked to Rohit Shetty’s Khatron Ke Khiladi 12 but since the actor has reportedly refused that show, he might just be approached for and do Bigg Boss 16.

Mahhi Vij

Jay Bhanushali participated in Bigg Boss 15 and he was mocked for not doing any tasks on the show. Now, it appears that the makers want to bring his wife Mahhi Vij on board to see how she behaves in the house.

Munawar Faruqui

Lock Upp winner Munawar Faruqui’s name has been associated with almost all reality shows now. The comedian has hinted that he will be a part of Khatron Ke Khiladi 12 but not Bigg Boss OTT. He said that he wouldn’t want to do a show where he is locked up in a place, for a while, since he had to go through that with Lock Upp. However, since Bigg Boss 16 is further away, he might just take up the offer.

Divyanka Tripathi

Yeh Hai Mohabbatein actress Divyanka Tripathi has also reportedly been roped in for Bigg Boss 16. Her name has also been linked to Rohit Shetty’s Khatron Ke Khiladi 12. Now only time can tell whether she is actually a part of the two shows.
