Mahendra Singh Dhoni called 'Captain Cool' has been loved by one al all. The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper retired from all formats of international cricket on August 15, 2020.

During the 2015 World Cup, MS Dhoni passed the ball to Suresh Raina to bowl against the left-handed batter William Porterfield.
He was heard saying, "Woh volleyball kee tarah khada hua hai beech mein" (he is standing in a volleyball pose)".

Dhoni's code for Doosra
MS Dhoni, during a Test game, wanted Ravichandran Ashwin to bowl the 'Doosra'. However, he did not want to use the term to notify the opponent and instead used a popular TV show's name to give him a hint.
Dhoni was heard saying "Taarak Mehta" and Sunil Gavaskar, who was the commentator, explained that he was referring to the show 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' to bowl the doosra.

Dhoni's cheeky reminder to S Sreesanth
Former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan had revealed that during one game where Sreesanth was not so focussed on the field, Dhoni made sure to get his attention in a cheeky way.
He said, "Oye Sree girlfriend nahi hai udhar, idhar aaja thoda" (Sreesanth your girlfriend is not there, please come a little squarer).

MS Dhoni to Ravindra Jadeja
During India's tour of New Zealand in 2013-14, BJ Watling and Brendon McCullum were frustrating the Indian bowlers with their partnership of 352 runs.
Ravindra Jadeja bowled some overs but Dhoni was not impressed with his line and length. He soon commented saying, "Jaddu thoda off mein daal. Pujara ko udhar taali bajane nahi rakha hai" (Jadeja bowl on the off stump. Pujara is not standing there to clap).

During an IPL game between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), Dhoni and Jadeja communicated in Hindi when Glenn Maxwell and AB de Villiers were batting.
However, after their wicket fell, Harshal Patel walked out to bat and soon after, Dhoni said: "Ab Hindi me nahi bol sakta hun" [Now I can't talk to you in Hindi!].
