Sunil Gavaskar in Savli Premachi

The star cricketer of the Indian team, Sunil Gavaskar, has not just aced the cricket field but also cinema houses. The athlete has been featured in the 1980 Marathi movie Savli Premachi, directed by Datta Keshav, alongside Agha and Vikram Gokhale. He also did a cameo role in Naseeruddin Shah’s 1988 film Malaamaal.

Ajaya Jadeja was one of the renowned players of his time until a match-fixing scandal put an end to his glorious career. After retiring from cricket, he tried his luck at acting and landed an important role in the 2003 movie Khel.
