One with the girl gang! Alia posed with her sister and her close friends including Akansha Ranjan and Anushka Ranjan.

Ranbir paid tribute to his father and the legendary actor Late Mr Rishi Kapoor.

Brahmastra director and Alia-Ranbir's close friend Ayan Mukerji kissed the bride in this adorable picture.

Like a new trendsetter, Alia went with a small Mehendi design on her hands, while Ranbir wrote his wife's name on his palm. Both can be seen sitting together and enjoying the ceremony.

The Kapoor family including Ranbir, Neetu Kapoor, Karishma Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Riddhima Kapoor performed in the Mehendi.

Ranbir flaunted Alia's name on his hands during the event, while the latter smiled and adorably looked at him.

Alia shared all the images on her official Instagram handle. The caption reads, "The Mehendi was like something out of a dream. It was a day full of love, family, our beautiful best friends, a LOT of French fries, a surprise performance by the ladkewalas, Ayan playing DJ, a BIG surprise organised by Mr. Kapoor (my favourite artist performed my favourite songs), all followed by some happy tears and quiet, blissful moments with the love of my life. There are days… and then there are days like these! (sic)."
