All you need to know about IPL 2023 mini-auction
The forthcoming mini-auction for the 2023 season will feature all 10 franchises following the success of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022.
The ten franchises had kept between 10 and 16 players from the previous season as of the IPL 2023 Retention Deadline. Each team will be given the opportunity to choose up to 25 individuals for their roster during the auction.

The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 mini-auction will begin on Friday, December 23, in Kochi, Kerala. The auction will start at 14:30 IST.

How many players are shortlisted for IPL 2023 mini-auction?
Earlier, 369 individuals from 10 teams had been selected from a list of 991 players.
However, 36 more players were added to the final list at the teams' request, bringing the total number of players to be presented at the IPL 2023 mini-auction to 405 individuals.

How many Indian players and overseas players are included in the list?
Out of the 405 players, 273 are from India, and 132 are overseas players, including four players from associate nations.
There are 119 total capped players, 282 uncapped players, and 4 players from associate countries.
As for the slots available for selection, "A maximum of 87 slots are now available with up to 30 being slotted for overseas players," IPL stated in a release.

Gujarat Titans (GT): 7 slots - Rs 19.25 crore
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB): 7 slots - Rs 8.75 crore

What is the highest reserve price at the IPL 2023 mini-auction?
19 international players have decided to play for the highest reserve price of Rs 2 crore.
With a starting bid of INR 1.5 crore, 11 players are included in the auction list.
The two cricketers from India with base salaries of INR 1 crore are Manish Pandey and Mayank Agarwal.
