OTTplay Awards and Conclave 2022: A star studded affair
India’s first ever pan India OTT awards, the OTTplay Awards and Conclave 2022 made a stellar debut on September 10, Mumbai. The awards honoured the best in OTT content which made their way onto the silver screen in the past year, across languages and genres. A number of actors and filmmakers, who won hearts with their impeccable work in the digital space came together for the event. Sara Ali Khan, Taapsee Pannu, Masaba Gupta, Kartik Aaryan, and many celebs graced the purple carpet, oozing style and sophistication. Sara Ali Khan
Sara Ali Khan seemed to resemble a golden ray of sunshine, all smiles, working the purple carpet in a gorgeous shimmery gold dress. The actress bagged the award for Breakthrough Performance of the year for her role in Aanand L Rai’s Atrangi Re.
Kartik Aaryan made sure to make a style statement in his chic suit and charming nature. The actor went home with the award for Best Actor Male (Film) Popular for Dhamaka.
Priyadarshi looked dapper indeed in a stunning green and black ensemble. The Telugu actor won the Emerging OTT Star (Male) award for his performances in Loser 2 and Unheard.
Taapsee Pannu turned heads as she sashayed down the red carpet in a breathtaking emerald gown and matching necklace. The actress was declared the winner of the Best Actor Female Film (Popular) for her memorable performance in Haseen Dillruba.
Neha Dhupia was a vision in white in an ethereal white ensemble. For her compelling performance in A Thursday, the actress won the award for Best Supporting Actor Female (Film).
Raveena Tandon looked breathtaking in a black and gold ensemble. The actress, who made a stellar OTT debut with Aranyak, was awarded the Best Actor Female (Series) award for her role in the thriller show.
Tahir Raj Bhasin
Tahir Raj Bhasin oozed swagger in a stylish black suit, and he topped off his look with a glittering gold chain. For his performance in Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein, the actor won the award for Best Male Actor in a Series.
Vidya Balan seems to be dominating the OTT world these days, with back to back OTT releases. The actress graced the red carpet with husband Siddharth Roy Kapur. She won the award for Best Female Actor in a film for Sherni.
Guru Somasundaram had won hearts with his impeccable performance as Shibu in Minnal Murali. The role earned the actor the award for Breakthrough Performance of the Year.
Kunal Kapoor went for an unconventional and bold choice, slaying the purple carpet in a fluorescent green suit. The actor took home the award for Best Male Debut (Series) for his work on The Empire.
Mithila Palkar looked as lovely as ever in a white gown dotted with blood red floral prints. The actress and her Little Things co-star Dhruv Sehgal won the Award for Best Onscreen Couple on OTT.
Arya seemed the epitome of elegance as he graced the purple carpet at this year’s OTTplay Awards and Conclave. The actor took home the award for Best Actor Male (Film) for Sarpatta Parambarai. The actor won the award jointly with Farhan Akhtar.
Being a fashion designer herself, it was no surprise to see Masaba Gupta look as impeccable as ever in a gorgeous white ensemble. The actress earned the award for Excellence in Reality fiction for her performance in Masaba Masaba.
Farhan Akhtar was his usual stylish self as he walked the purple carpet along with his wife, Shibani Dandekar. The actor won the award for Best Actor Male(Film) for Toofan, which he won jointly with Arya.
Konkona Sen Sharma
Konkona Sen Sharma looked breathtaking in a lovely blue and gold saree. For her stunning performance in Mumbai Diaries: 26/11, the actress took home the award for Best Supporting Actor Female in a series.
