Kranti is composer V Harikrishna's 2nd directorial

Kranti reunites Darshan with composer-turned-filmmaker V Harikrishna after their first collaboration, Yajamana. Harikrishna, according to Darshan is a master in making massy entertainers and in unison with the producers, he mixes class with mass.

The title Kranti was thought to be in keeping with the subject, which is about akshara kranti, but turns out, it is Darshan's name in the film as well. The actor plays an NRI who returns to figure out how to stop the privatisation of government schools. 

Rachita Ram romances Darshan yet again

Rachita Ram, who began her filmi career opposite Darshan with Bulbul and followed that up with Ambareesha, is back with the Challenging Star in Kranti. She plays a teacher at the school that Darshan has to save. 

Pushpavati's Nimika Ratnakar

Mr Bachelor actress Nimika Ratnakar took the stage to thank the team of Kranti for allowing her to be a part of the film. Nimika features in the hit special number Pushpavati, which she says has made her a lot more popular these days. 

The ladies of Kranti

Kranti producer Shylaja Nag, her daughter Chandana and Nimika were joined by Samyuktha Hornad, who also has a pivotal role in the film. 

Producer B Suresha is one happy guy

Producer B Suresha also has a pivotal role in the film, playing a school teacher who summons former student Kranti to come back and save his alma mater. 

Sumalatha gets to be CM

Sumalatha who is close to Darshan on a personal level returns to work with him in Kranti. She plays the chief minister in this tale.
