According to reports, Mythili’s real name is Brighty Balachandran and was born in Konni, Pathanamthitta, Kerala, India. Mythili made her acting debut with Paleri Manikyam: Oru Pathirakolapathakathinte Katha starring Mammootty in 2009.

Following her impressive debut, she featured in a number of Malayalam movies such as Salt N' Pepper, Ee Adutha Kalathu, Mayamohini, Nadodimannan, and Loham. She was last seen in the 2019 movie, Mera Naam Shaji.

Having proven her talent in front of the camera, the actor also ,ade her debut as a playback singer in 2015. The actor lent her voice to the song titled Kanaka Mayilanchi from the Mohnalal starrer Loham.
