Story: The young child of Ramany and Ramany hatches a plan to adopt a pet, but the couple and their daughter come up with a weird plan to discourage him. They develop a story for the sake of fun to ensure that the little boy never comes up with any plans to bring a pet home in the future.

Review: The second episode of the series was relatively engaging with fresh ideas and engaging performances from its principle cast, making the viewers wait for the next episode. However, the latest episode, which is supposedly a fun-filled one, ends up as a drab attempt.

It begins with Ram, the son of Ramany and Ramany, searching for a cockroach in the kitchen as he is fond of them. His love for other similar creatures leaves his sister and parents shocked and they become concerned for him. They ask him not to go behind these insects, leaving him dejected.

But soon he thinks of adopting a pet dog and his sudden decision puts the other three family members in a spot. His sister Ragini then thinks of a bizarre idea to stop him from getting obsessed with the plan to bring a pet dog home. She tells him that he himself is an adopted child and that the law doesn't permit such kids to keep pet dogs.

Though Ramany and Ramany couldn't digest this outlandish plan of their daughter initially, they decide to encourage her for the time being to have some fun. But little did they know that things would go out of control when their school-going son believes the cock-and-bull story. In fact, he even decides to go in search of his real parents with the help of a housemaid.

To begin with, the idea of bringing a cooked up story to deceive a small boy may have sounded interesting on paper, but the execution lacked conviction and the parts which were meant to create laughs were underwhelming despite earnest performances from Vasuki, Ramji, Param Guhanesh and Ponni Suresh.

Unlike the previous episodes, Param has got a meaty role this time, and many scenes revolve around his adorable, naïve expressions. The fabricated story, though, is told to Param in a light-hearted manner, the way in which he gets convinced needed finesse. The final act, involving the maid, was okayish.

Verdict: The third episode of the series doesn't offer any wow factor when compared to the previous episodes.
