Alma Matters - Inside the IIT Dream

Episode 1- When the few lucky ones finally get into IIT, realization dawns it isn't engineering they had signed up for, but an entirely generic notion of "success". This is the story of some chosen ones at IIT Kharagpur wondering what to do now that the dog has caught the car. Episode 2- Placement season in IIT Kharagpur is a time of 20-hour days, piecing together a resume with a bullet point here and a bullet point there, plucked out of three years of life not particularly well spent. That, and borrowed suits and an abomination called the tie. Episode 3- Boys and girls in IIT Kharagpur are 100 miles from the city, with nobody except people exactly like them for company. Teamwork creates magic which is one of a kind. Loneliness can kill. All you have is each other. Friendship, like filtered air, is easy to get addicted to, and takes a lifetime to quit.
