Featuring noted actors like Shefali Shah, Kirti Kulhari, Seema Biswas, and Ram Kapoor, Human is a medical drama that follows the murky business behind drug trials and experiments. The series focuses on a pharmaceutical conglomerate that launches a drug that is tested on several unsuspecting, innocent victims who belong to the fringes of society. 

The series has been created and directed by Mozez Singh and Vipul Amrutlal Shah, who is best known for directing films like Namaste England, Action Replayy and Aankhen. This is the first time in 17 years that Shefali Shah has collaborated with her husband on a project, after the 2005 family drama Waqt: The Race Against Time. The actor’s last screen appearance was in the Netflix anthology film Ajeeb Daastaans, where she shared the screen with Manav Kaul in the short directed by Kayoze Irani. She will be next seen in Darlings, produced and starring Alia Bhatt alongside Vijay Varma and Roshan Mathew.
