Pachinko

The Canadian-Korean drama is based on the New York Times bestselling novel of the same name by journalist Min Jin Lee. The series follows a Korean immigrant family and the saga of four generations as they leave their homeland in the quest to survive and thrive. The show stars Youn Yun-Jung, a legendary actress who has starred in many of Korea's most revered films and TV shows in a career that spans five decades. The cast also includes Lee Min-Ho, famous for his role in Boys Over flowers (2009) and Heirs (2013), Minha Kim, Jin Ha, Soji Arai, Kaho Minami and others. Produced by Media Res, the series is directed by Justin Chon and Kogonada.
