The Crown Season 6

The Crown's fifth season recounts the life and reign of Queen Elizabeth II. This will be the first season of the show to be released following the deaths of Prince Philip on April 9, 2021, and Queen Elizabeth II on September 8, 2022. Along with Jonathan Pryce, Lesley Manville, Jonny Lee Miller, Dominic West, and Elizabeth Debicki, Imelda Staunton plays Elizabeth in the principal role. Following the ensembles headed by Claire Foy (seasons 1 and 2) and Olivia Colman (seasons 3 and 4), this season marks The Crown's second and last major recasting (seasons 3 and 4).
