Arshdeep Singh has etched his name in Indian cricket history by becoming the first Indian bowler to take 100 wickets in T20 Internationals, achieving this milestone during the final Group A match of the Asia Cup 2025 against Oman on Friday at Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai.
At the 19.1 over mark, Arshdeep dismissed Vinayak Shukla, caught by substitute fielder Rinku Singh, securing his 100th T20I wicket.
The delivery was a sharply executed short ball targeting the off stump, which Shukla attempted to pull with power but failed to time properly, resulting in a catch at deep mid-wicket. This wicket marked a significant career landmark for Arshdeep Singh, placing him in an elite category as the first Indian to cross the century mark in T20I wickets.
