The first Test saw the inclusion of two debutants, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Ishan Kishan, who left an indelible mark on the game. Jaiswal, in particular, made a sensational debut, exhibiting his batting prowess by scoring a remarkable century in his maiden innings. His brilliant knock of 171 runs along with skipper Rohit Sharma's ton got India to a comfortable position.
Meanwhile, Ravichandran Ashwin dominated the proceedings with the ball, taking an impressive tally of 12 wickets. He secured a fifer across both innings, playing a pivotal role in dismantling the West Indies batting order.

The 2nd test is all set to be played from July 20 to 24, 2023 at the Queen's Park Oval, Port of Spain, Trinidad. The match will start at 10:00 AM local and 7:30 PM IST.
