Match 17 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 will see Gujarat Titans (GT) take on Punjab Kings (PBKS) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The GT side has played three games, winning two and losing one, however, one notable absence from their playing XI has been New Zealand's Kane Williamson. Fans can now rejoice as the Kiwi batter has made it into the playing squad.

At the toss, Punjab Kings won and opted to field. While discussing changes to their squad, skipper Shubman Gill stated, "David Miller misses out due to a niggle, and Kane Williamson comes into the side."

As for the Punjab franchise, they also face a forced change due to injury, with Liam Livingstone missing out and Sikandar Raza coming into the side.
